About

Every August, Casa Abierta holds a two-week encounter focused on visiblizing and collectivizing processes that, through live arts, interact with Mexican and Latin American territories. Using various formats of presentation and production, we encourage the sharing of workshops, the production of performance pieces, demonstrations of research processes, improvisation jams and video dance, among other activities.

It is essential for us to establish ties of complicity, understanding, trust and intimacy with the artists involved. We create encounters that, from the body and the living arts, invite reflection, transformation and care of our relationships and territories, a sensitive ecology.

As part of our transformation, sum of efforts, and communion of visions, Casa Abierta is, as of 2023, a core program of Pocoapoco.
