Raymundo Rafael Pavón Lozano is a jaranero (traditional musician), composer, and singer from Xalapa, founder of La Calandria and collaborator of Natalia Lafourcade.He has composed music for theater and dance pieces such as Pasos de mí and has performed on international stages like The Public Theater (NY) and Thalia Theater (Hamburg). He is also dedicated to teaching and promoting son jarocho through workshops like Recursos del Ragueo and his album Antes de salir el sol.
