Mario Cruz

Mario Cruz was born in San Jacinto Chilateca, Oaxaca. He studied Sociology at UAM Xochimilco and earned a Master’s in Social Anthropology from CIESAS. His photography has appeared in La Jornada del Campo, Ojarasca, and Oaxaca Media. Winner of the Best Portfolio Award at FOTOSEPTIEMBRE 2024, his work is part of the Contemporary Image Catalog of the Centro de la Imagen. He founded the Club de Experimentación Fotográfica and has exhibited in Mexico and Chile.
