Alexis Convento
Alexis Convento (she/they) is a queer, 2nd-generation Filipino-American artist based in Berlin, Germany. Working as Ulam, they create experiences that combine personal storytelling, edible installations, and performative scores, linking ancestral narratives with labor and care. Their projects include Kamayan feasts inspired by the Manila-Acapulco Trade Route, a cocktail experienced as tears, and one-on-one spoon-feeding interactions. Alexis is also Head of Production and Planning at LAS Art Foundation.
