In this pickling workshop we will prepare atchara, a Filipino condiment made with ingredients shared between the Philippines and Mexico through the Manila Galleon, such as jicama and chayote. As we enjoy it together, we will explore how food traditions, family recipes, and personal memories intertwine to create a collective sense of belonging.
